Downtown Edmond Arts Festival

Need inspiration? Downtown Edmond Business Association is presenting The 39th Annual Edmond Arts Festival May 4–6. Over 120 artists from around the country will showcase their fine art at this juried show. A variety of medias will be shown, including oil/acrylic, watercolor/pastels, pen and ink, caricature, photography, sculpture, woodcraft, metal craft, blown glass and jewelry. Throughout the event, there will be music performances on the street as well as on the stage in Festival Market Place. Children’s entertainment will be in the Festival Market Place. Food trucks from around the area will also bring their culinary delights to the festival.


When: May 4–6, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. · Sunday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.

Norman Music Festival

Venture south down I-35 for the 9th Annual Norman Music Festival, a free, independent music festival held in downtown Norman. Free to the public and featuring over 300 performers this year, the three-day event will feature indoor entertainment on Thursday and Friday night, then moving outdoors for Saturday. Expect a variety of genres including hip-hop, Latin and electronica, rock and roll, country and more. This year also features a spoken word stage, stand-up comedy and poetry slams.
