Daddy-Daughter Dances

Several metro locations are hosting a night to remember for dads and daughters.

Norman: Located at Embassy Suites, Norman’s Daddy Daughter dance will have three sessions to choose from between 2:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Feb. 4. Couples will enjoy music, dancing and refreshments. Tickets can be purchased at normanfun.com.

Oklahoma City: An elegant night at the historic Meinders Hall of Mirrors in the Civic Center Music Hall will take place Feb. 18 from 7—9 p.m. This night will include food, music, photos and a “Maddest” hat contest with a prize for the winner. Midwest City: Held at Reed Conference Center on Feb. 18 with three dances between 4:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Dads and daughters get to enjoy music, light snacks and carriage rides. Professional photographer packages will be available at an additional cost. Edmond: The dance takes place Feb. 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with three sessions to choose from. Located at the MAC at Mitch Park, the night will include dancing, refreshments, professional photography and special guests, Belle and Gaston. Guests will receive a free downloadable print of their favorite photo. Tickets are $30 per couple, and $10 for each additional child. The Sleeping Beauty

A feast for the eyes and ears, The Sleeping Beauty is a charming fairytale featuring some of classical ballet’s most challenging yet enchanting choreography. Follow the story of Princess Aurora, the evil Carabosse, and the charming Prince Desire who pulls The Sleeping Beauty from her 100-year slumber. Featuring luxurious sets and costumes, Tchaikovsky’s glorious score, and a cast of fanciful characters, The Sleeping Beauty will awaken the senses. The ballet will be performed with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
